The view from the balcony is wonderful. You step out in the morning and you’re right by the beach, and sitting there looking out to sea is a real pleasure. Dimitra Hotel is in a great location, and the place is cute and clean. The owners were friendly and did their best to host us. Thanks to them.

The bathroom was the weak point. There’s a shower curtain, but water still gets everywhere after each shower. Renovated bathrooms would make this a five-star stay. My wife and I were there for five days, and I thought the hotel was good value for money, with a very nice location. The staff were polite and understanding.

We were happy we picked this place for our family with children. Restaurants and beaches are nearby, and we chose Nissos beach, just three minutes away by car. Everything else is close too. We had a sea-view room with air conditioning. The furniture is old, but the bed and pillows were comfortable. It’s quiet and good for relaxing, with a very nice balcony. There’s also a terrace and another balcony with seating for groups. You can park very close, on the street by the football field. Zefiros bar is at the entrance and offers a 10% discount. A great place to stay.

When I arrived to check in at 8 pm, they said I was late and had already given my Booking.com room to someone else. I drove for an hour and a half trying to find another hotel, on deserted, secluded roads between Petra and the other small towns. I’ll never forget the trouble this caused. The manager denied it brazenly when I told him they’d acted unprofessionally. The prices are cheap and the location is nice, but I felt unsafe there and wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
