A lovely, quiet place to stay, and very clean. It had everything we needed. The location is fabulous and idyllic, especially for anyone who enjoys a rural, natural way of life.

The house is set in a peaceful, quiet spot near the beach, with several lovely beach bars to choose from. It’s well equipped for self-catering and has good air-conditioning. Everything we needed for a lovely holiday was there. I’d highly recommend it.

Nickos and Sofia made a lasting impression on me. I spent two weeks at Gaea in November, and it was probably the best hotel stay I’ve ever had. Nickos was waiting at my suitea, a large private house on the property, and gave me a warm, genuinely Greek welcome. He helped me locate the grocery store and ATM, and taught me enough Greek to get started. He kept checking that I was comfortable throughout my stay. In Petra, you’re only 20 seconds from the beach, with privacy while still being near the fun. The hosts are truly generous and kind. I left with a deep respect for life on Lesvos, and Gaea Gardens was a big part of that. Kali Mera!

A perfect holiday home in Petra, in great condition and super clean. The location is great too. Nickos and his family are a real gem. I’d definitely recommend it to everyone.

The surroundings are very nice, and the owner is polite. The rooms are spacious and there’s parking. The beach is excellent and just 100 m away. WiFi is free, though it can be unreliable at times. The mesh panels should be the first thing upgraded.
