The sports facilities kept everyone busy, from the basketball and volleyball courts to the football pitch and well-equipped gym. The host even supplied brand-new balls. The boys and adults made full use of them, and we also enjoyed the rooftop barbecue in the evenings. The nearby village had a good taverna, butcher and other useful shops, supermarkets were easy to reach, and there was plenty of driveway space for our hire cars. We gathered as a family of 10, including four boys, and felt welcome and well cared for from the start. The host was attentive, supportive and quick to help, with friendly, clear communication throughout. On our last evening, they treated us to home-cooked food, including delicious pizza from the outdoor oven. Those personal touches made the holiday memorable. Villa Mary had loads of room inside and out for our group. It was clean and well maintained, and the cleaning service kept it fresh during our stay. Every bedroom had working air conditioning, a blessing in the heat, and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was clean and a great depth, with comfortable sunbeds and shaded spots for relaxing. There was room for everyone. Villa Mary gave us comfort, space, fun and a warm welcome. We had a brilliant time and would recommend it without hesitation. We hope to return one day.

There are plenty of supermarkets close by, and lots of beaches are within a 15-minute drive. A perfect place to stay on Crete, near Rethymno.

We loved the big garden and the pools, including a lovely one for the kids, plus the jacuzzi. There are lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, and plenty to do with a basketball court and table tennis. The villa is spacious and very, very clean, with lots of amenities. The hosts were the friendliest people you could meet and cooked delicious traditional Cretan dishes. It’s 10 km from Rethymno town and 2,5 kilometres from the beach. Highly recommended!

Antonis was welcoming and helpful throughout our lovely family holiday at Villa Mary. Etouri concierge service made it easy to arrange beach clubs, restaurants and taxis, and there are great restaurants and shops just a stone’s throw away. The pool was a perfect temperature, the kids had a great playground, and the adults enjoyed the basketball court and other sports. There was all the relaxation and entertainment we wanted. Thanks for the hospitality.
