Arkoudi has a pleasant feel after the season, and there are a few things to explore, including Iamatiki Pigi mud bath. We were pleasantly surprised by the value here. The rooms were clean and nice, right on the beach with loungers, and breakfast was included. There’s a large pool too. This will definitely be a favorite of ours on the West Peloponnes.

We chose this as a quiet, relaxing stop on our road trip before visiting Olympia, and the room was comfortable. Staff were attentive and breakfast was good. I was initially unsure about parking on the public beach. During one day of our two-night stay, the Jet Ski World Championships were being held, which was very disruptive for a few hours. Even so, I’d recommend the place.

The hotel is right by the sandy beach, with clear water and its own beach sets for guests. Below the rooms is a small but lovely infinity pool. It’s an ideal beach-holiday setup, in a quaint village that wasn’t crowded. Our modern 18 sqm room had a balcony looking across Arkoudi beach, plus a comfortable bed and pillows. The shower was good, though the space felt a bit cramped.

The sunset from the pool restaurant was beautiful and peaceful, and the room and view were amazing too. Staff looked after everything we needed so warmly. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with local delicacies, though I wish there’d been more variety. I’d recommend a room with a sea view and outdoor jacuzzi. Thanks, Almira Hotel, for all the lovely memories. We’ll be back!

We weren’t staying at the hotel, just stopped by the beach bar. The staff were super friendly and the service was excellent. They had big buckets packed with ice for takeaway beers and drinks, and the prices were good. Highly recommended!
