The area is a real plus, with lots of tavernas and bars just a few minutes away on foot. You’ll need a rental car to get to the beach or explore the island, though rental e-bikes are available at the hotel. The surrounding tavernas also outdid the food served at the bar for lunch and at the weekly BBQ. We found the hotel worth a week’s stay if you get a good deal, but we wouldn’t pay the high-season price we had again. The sunbed situation was frustrating. The hotel does nothing about guests reserving beds, and around 9:00 each morning, most or all were already claimed. Some stayed unused until late or were only used briefly. On a few days, I went biking at 7:00 and the first beds were already reserved. We had our own pool and loungers, so it didn’t affect us directly, but it’s an annoying practice. The staff across housekeeping, the bar, and management were all very friendly and engaged, and seemed to enjoy their work. We felt well looked after, and the cocktails were incredible. The hotel itself is fairly new, so nearly everything is in great shape. We tried two room types. The “Junior Suite Private Pool” was on the small side, especially for storage. Its pool and loungers are for your own use, but they’re visible from other rooms and public areas, so they aren’t secluded. The “Suite private pool” was much larger and completely private, so we really liked it. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. I didn’t expect huge variety from a small hotel, but the selection was limited and barely changed all week. The hot food was often lukewarm or cold, and most items didn’t seem to be the best quality. For the price and a four-star hotel, I expected more. Breakfast ending at 10:00 may also feel early on holiday. The bar stays open late, with music playing until closing even when it’s quiet. That’s nice if you’re at the bar, but the sound carries across the hotel and can be annoying when you’re trying to sleep. Overall, most of our week was great, though there were enough things we didn’t like to make it hard to choose between four and five stars.

A great place to stay, and I’d highly recommend it. It’s an adults-only resort in a very convenient spot in town. The rooms are modern, clean, and tidy, with maids coming in daily. Breakfast is decent, there are enough sunbeds for everyone, and there’s no morning towel scramble.

This was our third year in a row at Casa Blu, and we’ve just come back from another week. We’re already talking about when to return in 2026. The rooms and pool area are spotless, and the cleaners work hard in the heat. At reception, Dimitris is always happy to arrange reservations and help with anything you need. The breakfast buffet and afternoon lunch are consistently good, well seasoned, and nicely presented. Chef Antreas also offers a private dining experience you can book, which we’re thinking about trying next year. The hotel sits perfectly between all three villages and areas, with loads of good places to eat and drink nearby. For us, Iokasti restaurant, Atrium, and Blue Moon stood out. Areston, just down the road, is a great taverna where locals eat. What makes the place special is how social it feels. The staff work tirelessly to make your stay relaxing, and each has their own infectious personality. The hotel feels like one big family. We spent many evenings at the bar talking the world over and trying the cocktails with Roula, George, and the main malaka Manos. Time flies there because it feels like being with old friends. To be continued next year… Liam & Natalie

The location made it easy to enjoy the quaint villages of Piskopiano and Koutouloufari, with lots of lovely tavernas, bars, cafes, and shops nearby. Our room was spotless, and the cleaner always checked whether it was okay to come in when we were around. George, Demetrios, and the lovely women at breakfast and the bar were super friendly and took time to chat with guests.
