Helen, George and Matthew made our long weekend without the kids fantastic. They're welcoming, helpful and kind, and we had such a laugh with them. Their Saturday night BBQ was spot on and delicious. It's a beautiful little place, kept so clean, and I don't think I've ever seen a cleaner swimming pool. Everyone is friendly, including the other people staying in the apartments. We hired a car from down the road and were so glad we did, because we got to explore some of the beautiful island. There are lots of lovely shops and restaurants right next door, with fantastic food too. Thanks for the great experience and warm welcome during our short stay. We can't wait to see you all again!

The rooms are basic but well presented, and more than adequate for most people's needs. The wet room was really nice and clean. The location works perfectly for Piskopiano, koutouloufari and old hersonisos. The pool is compact and best suited to children. It's south-facing, but get up early if you want one of the best sunbed spots. This seems best as an apartment for staying in. Matthew, the owner, appeared to take umbrage when you wanted to explore instead of using the apartment facilities. Once, his sarcastic comment and remarks from members of his entourage made their point clear to me, and sadly spoiled my stay. I wouldn't let that put you off, though, as it's a lovely place.

We just spent two weeks at Matheos and had a fantastic time. Helen, George and Matthew work incredibly hard to make sure everyone has a great holiday, and nothing is too much trouble. There's even a book library by the pool. They've done small and friendly extremely well. Guests are all so friendly, whether you're travelling as a family, a couple or on your own, and you're assured a warm welcome. Highly recommended.

We had the best ten-day holiday here with our 13-month-old. Helen, George and Matthew felt more like family friends than the owners. Travelling with a baby that age isn't always easy, but nothing was too much trouble, and we couldn't have asked for a more welcoming stay. This hidden gem is the kind of place we'd return to year after year. We met some of the loveliest, most loyal returning visitors, and we're already excited to come back next summer. Thank you, Helen, George and Matthew, for everything and for being part of our family holiday memories. No doubt there'll be many more :)

This is a lovely family-run place in a very quiet location. The apartments are lovely and breakfast is brilliant. The beer is freezing cold and cheap, too. The small pool is spotless, with lots of clean, cushioned sunbeds. It seems to cater more for the over-40s, though young families are popular as well. The excellent restaurants in the neighbouring villages are only a ten-minute walk away. Recommended for nice people.
