Cayo Exclusive Resort & Spa

We had an executive suite with a private pool, and paying extra to have the pool heated was worth it. The views were outstanding, and there’s a lovely walk down into Plaka with plenty of good restaurants to try. The hotel was superb and very peaceful at the end of the season, with top-notch rooms. We stayed five nights and found all the staff friendly and attentive. Hiring a car is a good way to explore Elounda, Agios Nikolaos, and some stunning beaches. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Our son was thrilled with the private pool, and we loved the rocky beach with its crystal-clear water. We had an amazing week here in summer 2024, and the view from our room was wonderful. I’m missing this place right now.

The facilities were fantastic, with three pools, a gym, bars, and restaurants, and the whole team provided great service. The views straight across to the island of Spinalonga were stunning. Without a doubt, one of the best hotels on Crete. Thank you all, we’ll be back 🙏🤩

The pool areas are nicely spaced out and relaxing, and the cocktails and drinks bar were great. There’s a good wine list with some lovely options too. It’s only a short walk into the small town, which has a nice handful of restaurants. We stayed on half board. Breakfast had loads to choose from, both from the menu and buffet, and was among the best hotel buffets I’ve tried. Dinner changed quite a bit each day, with some delicious dishes, always a nice grilled fish or meat, and plenty of sides. Everything stayed well stocked, including the delicious oils. Our room was stunning, spacious, and well designed, and the pool was delightful. The twice-daily cleaning was exceptional. They left little treats and lots of water, and kept everything immaculate. We had a great time at Cayo with our infant. My wife’s massage was only okay, especially for the price, and that was probably the one downside. I’d certainly recommend Cayo if you want a beautiful hotel and a little luxury.
