Memories of Milos

It’s very close to Plaka, but not worth the money. We were “greeted” by an old man in a T-shirt shouting which room we’d get. The outside looks decent, but inside there was no soundproofing, the bed creaked and the mattress was lousy, the TV had no signal, the shower had no pressure, and AC water dripped in front of the balcony door. The door wouldn’t lock and there were no screens, coffee maker, shaker, kitchen paper or paper towels. The cleaning crew came every morning at 10:00 to change sheets and towels and clean, but they tried to open the door without knocking or agreeing on a time first. We had to learn our checkout time from the cleaners, and 15 minutes later they called to complain about when we were leaving. I tried to explain the problems to the gentleman in the undershirt, but he had an excuse for everything. Go somewhere else. Best regards, A sufferer

The building is very nice and the room was clean, but the shower drain was clogged from day one and the mattress was old. It’s well located, with a supermarket, coffee and food nearby, and easy access to several places.

The accommodation is in a convenient spot, close to everything and fairly quiet. It looks good from the outside, and the interior layout is nice, but the furnishings inside are old. All the beds creaked and were uncomfortable. It also feels like something local is missing, more like a city apartment.

The apartment felt welcoming and right away we felt at home. We booked just one day ahead, and they made everything incredibly easy from the start. They met us at the port after our ferry arrived, came along while we rented a car, and showed us to the accommodation. After checkout, they helped carry our luggage back to the port and were available whenever we needed them.
