Naxian On The Beach Luxury Boutique Suites

The restaurant attached to the resort was delicious, with excellent service from very nice staff, and there was beach service at the lovely location. Our room, though, was too small. We couldn't even fit a toothbrush in the bathroom and had to keep our toiletries on the coffee stand, which was a hassle. Ask about bathroom space when booking in case some rooms are larger. We had already been traveling around Europe for a month when we arrived, and I wish we'd asked our travel agent more about the resort. They have another luxury property we wish we'd chosen instead.

Maria was a fantastic concierge, and they even arranged for our rental car to be delivered to the hotel. Service was excellent across the board, with drinks brought right to us on the beach. Plaka beach is right there, and the off-season price was very fair. The place has a distinctly bohemian feel. Our room was clean, though the towels and linens need replacing. A desk, floor lamp, and screen door for the hot tub patio to keep flying bugs out would make it even better. I'd gladly return and recommend it.

We only had two days in Naxos, and the hotel made a great base: it's right on a very quiet beach, with great restaurants and bars within walking distance. The beach cabanas were lovely, and staff came to our chairs to take orders. There's no formal reception desk, but Maria and the team made check-in and checkout easy, helped with our bags, and found taxis into town, which we knew could be a challenge. We loved our stay and only wish we could've stayed longer.

Breakfast is really good, highly recommend it. The beach spot is great too, in a quieter stretch that doesn't get too crowded, and the staff are friendly. The rooms could use a few small improvements, and a proper staffed reception desk might be better. Still, the place is generally fine and we'd visit again.
