My room had a private pool, and the water views were incredible. The food and drinks were top-notch, and the staff were so accommodating, always going out of their way to help. I never had to wait for my car, transportation, or assistance. Everything was perfect. It’s the best hotel experience I’ve ever had, in a class of its own.

The service is what really stood out. Everyone was welcoming, kind, and ready to help well beyond what we expected. The hotel is beautifully kept, in an amazing location, and the food is delicious. Honestly, this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at anywhere in the world.

We came in May 2026 for part of our Cretan holiday and left feeling as if we were leaving family behind. Phaea blue has a serene, incredible property, but it was the wonderful staff who made those five days so special. Our four-year-old bonded with so many of them: Maria at Anthos restaurant during our morning visits, chef Giannis at Blue Door and the farmers pop-up feast, our Cretan cooking class chef, Dora, and the rest of the team. They were kind, knowledgeable, and made us feel included. Marina, the hair stylist, also deserves a shout-out for fitting me in at the last minute and giving me an amazing wash and blow. Breakfast each morning was fabulous, with fresh farm-to-table food and a smile to greet us. The restaurants on the resort grounds were mind-blowing. We usually go out and explore, but every need felt taken care of here, from the food to the atmosphere and connections, so we didn’t leave the property. If you visit, try to get a seat at the farmers feast pop-up. The food was spectacular, and the produce from the phaea farm was just wow. Thank you, phaea blue, for such a memorable time for our family. We miss you all dearly!

We usually prefer to head out and explore, but we enjoyed staying at Phaea Blue all day. Our room had a private pool. It was a little dated, but spacious and luxurious. There were several pools to choose from, excellent restaurants and cocktails, and a private beach with really comfortable chairs. A very relaxing, high-quality stay, and we highly recommend it.

We’re still here at this spacious, amazing resort, and it’s been an absolute dream. The suite and private pool feel luxurious, the bed is perfect, and housekeeping has been flawless. The staff are wonderful, especially the Front Office Manager, who made the stay unforgettable. A particular incident was handled with complete professionalism. Huge credit to the Professional Manager for the leadership and high standards.
