Sun and Sea Plus Resort Hotel

The bay views are lovely, and it’s just a two-minute walk to the shops and tavernas in plaka. The rooms and grounds are spotless, the pools are kept pristine, and service is excellent. There could be a few more plants around the hotel, but at least there aren’t any bugs.

The pools are great, with two shared ones and private pools for some rooms. We had comfortable beds, and traveling with kids was easy since every room has a large, comfy sofa bed. We’ll definitely return when we’re back in this part of Crete. It’s a clean, lovely hotel with a beautiful view. We could have dinner on the balcony while watching the sunset, or head to local restaurants in Plaka or on the beach in Almirida. Breakfast was really tasty. It’s ordered à la carte rather than served as a buffet, and alongside the usual dishes there are local options like Sfakian pita, which you should try.

It’s around two minutes from the restaurants in Plaka and a 10-minute walk to Almyrida. We stayed for a week and had an amazing time. The room was lovely, the bay views were great, and the in-room facilities were all good. Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed them. I’ll definitely stay here again!

We spent two weeks at Sun & Sea Plus Resort in July 2023 and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and quick to respond, and our room was spacious and very clean. We had a lovely view from the balcony, too. We’d definitely visit again!
