The building is a fairly easy walk from the beach, no more than 15 minutes at a slow pace. Our two-room apartment was cleaned every day by the owners, who were also very welcoming. The rooms were always clean.

We were a family of two adults and one child, and appreciated how quiet it was around the apartment. Even with guests upstairs, it still felt peaceful. There's also a small, safe playground on site, and we were pleasantly surprised to find out while having lunch in town that the same family owns a tavern there. The owners were attentive and helpful. The apartment was high quality and had what we needed to feel at home, including comfortable beds and small appliances all in perfect condition. It's a great base for exploring, with plenty to do nearby. We loved our stay. Thank you!

We loved the terrace for spending evenings outside, while it also gave us some shelter from Crete's strong sun and heat. The apartment was very clean and well organized, and our rooms were maintained and cleaned during the holiday. The two ladies hosting us were lovely and helpful. Damnoni beach, with its clear water, is a pleasant walk of up to 10 minutes away. There are a couple of traditional tavernas along the way serving delicious Cretan food, and a small supermarket too. Plakias, with lots of restaurants, supermarkets, and shops, is only a two-minute drive. We had a lovely four days here, and will definitely return. We recommend it over other places we've seen recently.
