The hotel manager was very sweet and apologetic. They refunded us for two nights, though we were charged for two when we only stayed one, so it was better than nothing. We left after that first night because none of us had slept much and we woke with sore backs. The online pictures are misleading and must be about ten years old. The property wasn't lush or well landscaped, and its tiny sign was hard to spot from one direction on the road. The rooms felt old and dated, with thin cot-style mattresses that were extremely uncomfortable. The balcony was large but dirty, and the lounge chair cushions were old and dirty. The wooden bedroom shutters wouldn't open. The only air conditioner was in one bedroom; it made a very loud noise during the night and wasn't blowing cold air. At 90 Euros a night, it was far too expensive for its condition. I wouldn't pay more than 40 Euros. We found much nicer places for the same price, then a much better modern boutique hotel with a suite, two bathrooms, a pool and full kitchen for just 30 Euros more per night. It also had an excellent breakfast buffet and was closer to town and the beach. It's a very budget-style hotel, and if the price had reflected the condition, I wouldn't have booked it. I'd only suggest it to young backpackers if they can get a better deal than we did.
