The location was very convenient, just minutes from lovely beaches in and around Plakias and from restaurants serving traditional Greek food. My family and I had a great experience at Anthos Apartments. The staff were incredibly helpful, the amenities were great, and our room was wonderful and clean, with such a lovely sea view. Without a doubt, I'd highly recommend it.

The room was pretty bare bones, though it did have a kitchen, and there were several problems during our stay. There was no AC and no remote for the fan, so we had to climb onto a table to turn it on. There were no towels either. We called reception, which is at a sister hotel closer to the water, but got no answer or response, so we couldn't shower. I'd been swimming and ended up with a rash because I couldn't wash off that evening. Breakfast the next morning was flavorless. The juice was Sunny-D and fruit punch, and there were no gluten-free options. The place didn't meet the bare minimum, and the housekeeper was rude to us. I really wanted to like it, but there were too many things wrong.

The apartment was spacious, quiet, and clean, with lots of appliances. From the balcony there's a great view over Plakias bay. The garden is very nice, with a lovely lawn, and the pool is decent.

The service was good and the place is great, though the beds are really poor quality.
