We felt at ease from the minute we arrived at Cyano Hotel. The staff were always smiling, friendly, and happy to help, and they made our 43rd wedding anniversary especially memorable by surprising us with a fresh cream cake. That was such a lovely gesture. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel was modern, beautiful, and very clean, with a calm boutique feel. It’s also well placed for the beach, restaurants, and the lovely surroundings of South Crete. Plakias is amazing, but Cyano Hotel made the holiday unforgettable. We relaxed straight away and would love to visit again. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality! Jan & Rieda van Viegen

Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the room was cleaned while we ate, which was great service. The hotel is right in the middle of Plakias, with lots of parking nearby. The team were lovely from the moment we arrived. Maria and the bearded guy, sorry, I didn’t catch his name, were always around if we needed anything or wanted a drink. The rooms are modern and have everything you need. Best shower I’ve had in a hotel. Would be glad to return.

The owners and staff give top-notch service and hospitality, and the prices stay very reasonable even in high season. It’s a wonderful boutique hotel, with maisonette rooms around a beautifully designed central pool and pool bar. The rooms are splendid, clean, and thoughtfully designed. One of the best places to stay in Plakias, highly recommended!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious with something different each day. Our room was spotless and the surroundings peaceful. It’s just a 3-minute walk to the beach and Plakias town, which made it a great base for exploring. We had a fantastic stay at Cyano Hotel and highly recommend it.

The hotel is near both the beach and the tavernas, and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable with all the essentials, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We’d book here again.
