Plakias’s main street is very close, and the noise is a problem if you want to relax. The place does have a good location, a nice view, easy access, and free parking. The rooms were clean, partly renovated, but need some maintenance. The friendly owners already know about the street issue.

Maria and Manolis are such friendly, caring owners. They went out of their way to make our holiday as good as it could be. The garden has a lovely pool and a bar for cold drinks, and breakfast had everything we could need. Our room was clean, with restaurants, shops, and a beach about a 10-minute walk away. There’s private parking behind the apartments and a supermarket right next door. We’d certainly recommend Irida studios for a holiday in Plakias. Thank you so much, Maria and Manolis. 🥰

Plakias makes a great base, with plenty to explore within an hour's drive if you're willing to take on Crete's roads. We had a lovely week here, the rooms were really comfortable and the optional food was very good. I'd recommend it.
