We had a lovely five days at Plakias Suites, and our room, Thalia, was spacious and comfortable. The Coco-mat mattress and pillows were so good that we slept wonderfully. Eleni and her husband made sure we had what we needed, answered our questions right away, and gave us excellent food recommendations. The sea is a two-minute walk from the suites, with a wonderful view from the beach. Guests can use the umbrellas and sun loungers for free, and beach towels are provided. The village has supermarkets, shops and pretty much everything you might need on holiday. Thanks for everything, Eleni and Giorgos. Hope to see you again!

We slept really well on the Coco-may bed, and the next morning we had a delicious Freddo Cappucino from the beach bar. When we first arrived, a friendly young man met us in the courtyard, helped with our bags and took us to our spacious room. Since it was getting late, he suggested the beach bar, where we had great drinks and watched the sunset over a beautiful bay. Then we drove to a nearby hilltop for a phenomenal Greek dinner. My husband and I had a wonderful stay, and left already thinking about how soon we could come back. Highly recommend.

The sea view suite was well worth it. The hotel is in a great location for a mid-term stay, and there are sunbeds available. A short hike also starts just a few minutes away.

We liked it so much that we extended our stay twice, and we'd come back. The owners and managers were polite, good-natured and always available when we needed anything. The suite was spacious, clean and modern, with an elegant interior, Cocomat furnishings, effective air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchenette. Good value too. It's in the breeziest part of Plakias beach, about 100m from the suite's front door.

Eleni and her husband are wonderful hosts. Their recommendations were great, and they made us feel like we belonged there. The modern accommodation has everything you need as a base for a full beach holiday, and the relaxing beach bar offers excellent service. The best part of Plakias beach is right outside. If you're visiting this part of crete, I highly recommend staying here for at least a few days, or better yet, a week or more.
