Panorama Studios & Apartments

A lovely, quiet spot with scenic views, about a five-minute walk from the center and main beach. My wife and I stayed with our three kids in a serviced two-bedroom flat with six beds, two bathrooms, and a swimming pool. It’s well designed, with quality fittings and a very functional kitchen, though there’s no washing machine. The Wi-Fi wasn’t stable. It seemed to be an area-wide issue, since many power and internet connections aren’t buried and the wind knocks them out quite often every day. That helped us disconnect from busy life and enjoy our holiday 😉 The kids loved the pool, the staff brought us local pastries nearly every morning, and someone cleaned the flat nearly every day. There’s air conditioning in each bedroom, so you can choose how cool to make it. The staff are friendly, and we recommend the place.

Maro did everything she could to make our studio stay comfortable and pleasant. She’s a great host. The rooms were cleaned every day, and the pool stayed clean the whole time. A perfect spot if you care more about a family environment than luxury.

The owners were lovely and very attentive, but the pool and bar area was still closed when we left on 8th May 😥. Panorama is up a steep hill, and I needed first gear in the car. Plakias gets EXTREMELY windy because of all the gorges. You can’t really sit on the balcony or leave anything on the table, it gets blown away. We chose Panorama for the views, but could only see them from the room through the glass 😣. The room is big, though the kitchen needs more worktop space, so we moved the dressing table in there. On arrival, the kitchen equipment was filthy, as was the space under the bed. They should also put handrails on the spiral marble staircase.

The room and balcony were spacious and nice for the price, as long as it wasn’t windy. During heavy wind, the sliding door shook so badly it gave me an anxiety attack, and I couldn’t sleep. It seemed like one woman was handling everything in the building, from check-in to cleaning. That’s too much for one person.
