Kronos Hotel

It's easy to find on the main road, and there's a supermarket and coffee shops across the street. Most stores in town are close by too. We had clean rooms, good food, warm hospitality and excellent service. A very good place for a holiday.

I'm leading a group of tourists staying at Kronos, and my first room was in the basement with no shower. I explained to reception that I have claustrophobia and couldn't stay in a basement room without a shower, but was told there was no alternative. Only after the contractor called did I get moved. The new room has a bathroom, but it's still in the basement, and it's awful. With my claustrophobia, I feel like I can't breathe in there.

The hotel was in a quiet area, even though it's very close to the town centre, and the staff were always smiling, welcoming and helpful. My family had a holiday at Kronos, and we found the rooms very nice, clean and equipped with a big balcony. The food was another plus: lots of choices every day, including meat-free options for me, local dishes and food from other parts of Europe. Even a picky eater could find something. Greetings to the restaurant and bar team! I chose the hotel after reading lots of good reviews, and now I wanted to leave one too. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I paid cash for two days, then asked if I could give up one day and pay a fee. The owner refused outright, saying she was only a receptionist, and told me I could go to the police if I wasn't happy. The next day the owners walked past without saying hello. The room cleaning didn't include fresh towels or linen either. They could use some public relations training. I understand profit matters, but guests' comfort matters too, and I won't recommend staying here or come back, mainly because of the owners' attitude. It was the most unfortunate choice of my Greece holiday. The location is new and fairly clean, but the rooms are far too small, the pool is crowded, and parking is only available if you're lucky. Breakfast was modest. The air conditioning blows straight at the bed, so you have to choose between sleeping with the door open or having cold air blow on you.
