We found everything we needed close at hand, from the beach and shops to restaurants. The hotel itself was nice, and we really enjoyed staying there. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We’ve come back five years in a row, and hope to return soon. The staff are incredible, and the rooms and the rest of the hotel are clean and pleasant. Melina Beach hotel is right on the beach and close to the center of Platanias, which makes it a perfect holiday spot. We highly recommend it.

We booked one of the largest rooms for our family of four and grandma, and had a lovely stay. There are plenty of watersports nearby, and the food at the hotel restaurant was decent. You can also use the spa at their sister hotel nearby for an extra fee. The hotel team handled all our requests patiently and with a smile. It's right on the beach, with a pool and a playground for younger kids, and the main road with shops and restaurants is easy to reach. Everything was conveniently placed, making it a great family beach holiday. I'd definitely recommend it for families.

We loved our visit. Reception were always willing to help, and the staff kept everything spotlessly clean and well cared for. Our room was cleaned daily, with towels replaced as needed. There are sunbeds by the pool and on the beach, and the small pool area is lovely. The beachfront bar serves great food. Just off the Main Street, it's easy to get to shops, bars, and supermarkets for supplies.

The shaded outdoor play area for kids was a great extra, and free parking is right across from the entrance. We stayed four nights and liked the relaxed atmosphere and the view. The amenities are basic. Pool hours are 0900-1900, and the pool bar shuts at 1600. Housekeeping came daily, and the beach access is great.
