Katerina is such a lovely host and is always looking out for her guests. The rooms are spacious and clean, close to both the beach and main street. There’s parking near the apartment if you have a car. The internet unfortunately didn’t work, though it wasn’t a major problem for us.

The rooms were lovely and clean, and the place is right in the center of Platanias, next to the beach. They have a beach terasa with lovely food and perfect eleniko coffee. Thank you, Ms Katerina!

The price was the biggest surprise, and the apartment turned out much better than I expected. It was very clean, with three cozy beds, one of them double, strong WiFi, two ACs, and a quiet setting. The host welcomed us warmly and gave us all the information we needed to find the place. There’s free parking nearby, and the beach and restaurant are just 50m away, with the main street of Platanias close too. If you have a car, it’s a handy base for exploring Elafonissi, Balos, Kedrodasos, and Falasarna. I’d happily return to Crete and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place at a good price.

The apartments are nicely placed between the beach and the main village, with a convenience store right next door, and they’re still quiet. Katerina and her family also own the Crystal wave bar on the beach. We skipped the breakfast option, but ate and drank there several times. The food, service, prices, and welcome were all excellent. You can rent sunbeds on the beach too. Our family stayed in different rooms, and every one was comfortable, well equipped, spotlessly clean, and cleaned daily. Everyone commented on how lovely the stay was and how helpful the family were. Katerina even let us keep one room for the day so we could freshen up before our late flight home. From the start, communication was excellent. They checked our arrival time and made sure things would be ready. When we got there, Katerina gave us a very warm welcome, explained the accommodation, showed us our rooms, and pointed out the parking space reserved for us. She was always around for questions or to sort out problems, and the family greeted us cheerfully each day and made sure we were enjoying our holiday. Thank you again for such an enjoyable stay.
