Villa Platanias

The rooms are quite nice and fairly spacious, almost like apartments, and most have a balcony or terrace. The hotel is clean enough, but for what it costs, the place is only average and doesn't feel worth the price. The food also falls short for the cost, and there's not much variety. The “All-Inclusive” deal has a whole menu of extras you have to pay for. Ice cream, slushies and similar treats are only available at dinner and cost €3 or more. The beach is rocky in a hazardous way, with sharp platforms you can fall through, so hard-soled water shoes are a good idea for adults and children. There aren't many loungers. The view is nice, though, and you can see an island that you can visit by ferry. There's a road right beside the hotel, lined with little shops and cafés that stay open late and are worth checking out. Service was alright, although the staff weren't very talkative. They do get credit for knowing bits of several languages besides Greek and English, mostly Danish.

The hotel was clean and in a good spot close to the beach. The service and food weren't the best, but we still had a good stay overall.

I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were great and stayed nice and cool for most of the day. The people working in the breakfast, lunch and dinner area seemed pretty angry, though.

The walls don't block much noise, so you could hear the neighbors having parties and things pretty clearly. That was my only complaint. The service was fantastic!
