Star Hotel

Being by the sea is great, but the room felt too small, with just one chair for putting bags on. The bathroom was clean, though its appliances were old and the window needed replacing. You’ll need a car to get to the city, and finding a parking spot when you return may be hard. There’s space for four cars at most.

The time I spent here means a lot to me. Panos and Helen were lovely people who made me feel welcome and safe. I was having a tough time cycling from Athens, and Panos helped me feel happier and looked after. He also repaired my bike, gave me mandarins, and became a good friend. The hotel is wonderful, right by the ocean, with a lovely community. I’m so grateful for my stay and will always remember them. Thank you both so much. This is a place you MUST GO!

The location is nice for swimming and having a coffee, right at the water’s edge. The hotel itself is small and old style, run by a very polite family. The rooms could use renovation, but you can manage for a couple of nights. We paid 50 EU for one night and had no issues. I’d rate it 3.5 in reality.

It’s a pleasant hotel tucked away from the beaten path, with very nice and helpful owners. The attached taverna served good home-cooked food at reasonable prices, and the little beach was lovely. Just be aware that the entrance from the main road isn’t easy to spot.
