Manos Studios

We spent six days here. Manos is a very polite and kind host who looks after his guests. It’s a quiet area, protected from the north wind by the hills or small mountains, and good for car pickups. The airport and Chora (Fabrika) are close. Regular taxis are cheapest but hard to find. You can book one of the many Uber or Cabify-style cars through the Imove app, though it costs more. The apartments are well equipped for cooking, with plenty of utensils and a modern fridge. A supermarket is nearby if you’re tired of restaurants. The location is convenient, about 200 m from Platis Gialos beach, with restaurants and a small market. You can walk to at least three other nice beaches in 10 minutes. The bus stop is an eight-minute walk and takes you toward the beautiful, white-sand Platis Psarou beach, which is hard to find among beaches with small stones. Buses from there go to Fabrika (Chora), other beaches and towns, and the new port or airport. You can also take the Seabus from the small dock by the rental boats and sea tours. A one-day return ticket is 20 € per person. Recommended. There’s only a pool, so expect the price to be higher if that’s what you’re after. The second-floor apartments have lovely sea views. One has a big terrace, lots of space, and great privacy. First-floor apartments are smaller, with less private terraces. The atmosphere in Mykonos is great and special. We stayed in a second-floor apartment.

We had such a good time, and Manos gave us all the tips we needed for a memorable holiday. The studios are well placed for getting around the island, and from Platis it’s easy to explore. There are great beach clubs and restaurants nearby at very good prices. Hope to be back in Mykonos soon!

Manos is adorable and embodies that famous Greek hospitality. He shared useful tips and all the information we needed to explore the island. We loved meeting him, and can’t wait to return. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped, with a large terrace and an amazing bay view. The property itself is lovely, with care put into every detail. It’s also a handy base for the beautiful southern beaches, and Mykonos town is 10 minutes away by bus or car. The airport is 15 minutes away. We highly recommend it. Our stay was a 10/10!
