The little playroom was such a thoughtful setup for our toddler, right by reception and the pool, so we could take a breather while they played safely. The people running Niriedes Hotel have clearly put a lot into the place, and their hospitality was wonderful. Our rooms were roomy, with plenty of amenities, and there are shops, markets, and restaurants within walking distance via the steps down the cliff. You can also rent a motorbike or car to get to Apollonia and other nearby spots. We stayed three nights during a week in Greece for a wedding in Sifnos, and even found a few breakfast cookies in my suitcase when we got home. The hotel sits above the beach, port, and bay, with lovely mountain views at sunset. It’s about a 15-20 minute taxi ride from the ferry, and the hotel can arrange one. For us, Niriedes made a dream family trip feel real.

After a day hiking around Sifnos, we’d come back to those beautiful views, then walk into town for dinner by the beach. The hotel felt peaceful and welcoming, and it was a lovely place to celebrate our first anniversary. Our suite had plenty of room, a big sitting area, two balconies, separate closets, and a kitchenette. Breakfast was so filling that we skipped lunch most days: homemade breads, pastries, cookies, jams and honey, plus cheese, fruit, eggs made to order, and thick Greek yogurt. It was fresh and local, and you could tell the family made it with care.

The owners were so welcoming and helpful during our two nights at Niriedes, and they always seemed resourceful too. Our room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was freshly prepared. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

The owner was kind and attentive, and breakfast was included and really good. I loved the room and its views, especially from the balconies. It’s in a great location too. This may be my favorite hotel I’ve stayed at, and if I make it back to Sifnos one day, I hope I do, I’ll stay here again. A 10/10 for me.
