Kapetan Tasos Suites

Pollonia is a sweet little town with plenty of good places to eat. We enjoyed the beach bar Hitana behind the accommodation, once we found the path leading straight there, and wish we'd discovered Kivotos ton Gefseon earlier, as it's a wonderful bakery. Our family of four spent six nights at Kapetan Tasos Suites, first in two studios for one night, then in a two-bedroom suite for five nights. The accommodation was beautiful, cleaned impeccably every day, and had comfortable bedding, a cozy lounge area, and lovely balconies, including one with a large outdoor table. There was ample parking and a delicious complimentary breakfast of yogurt, honey, granola, and fresh pastries each day. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our room had everything we needed, including a kitchen, hairdryer, and iron. Laundry could be sent offsite through the hotel, but we used a self-service laundromat in Adamantas and the drying rack in our room. We'd happily stay at Kapetan Tasos Suites again if we get the chance to return to Milos.

Kapetan Tasos Suites is near the village's lovely restaurants, and the cave winery, which is a must visit, is a minute down the road. The beach and Hitana Beach Club are close by too. We spent five beautiful nights here, and the welcoming staff really made the stay feel five star. They went above and beyond with beach and pool towels, a complimentary mini bar that was stocked, and lovely bathroom products. I especially wish I'd been able to buy the Body Milk, it felt so nice after a long sunny day. We'd absolutely recommend the place and hope to return.

The breakfast was the best, with homemade Greek food and plenty of other choices, and we looked forward to it each morning. The team made the stay special: the owner was kind and welcoming, and Katerina was exceptional, making us feel at home as soon as we arrived. She offered useful sightseeing tips, booked restaurants, arranged a rental car and transfers, and was consistently warm and dedicated. Every detail at Kapetan Tasos in Milos seemed carefully chosen for guests' comfort, from the beautifully decorated rooms to the thoughtful amenities. Welcome drinks and homemade cake available all day were a lovely extra. Our Milos trip was fantastic, and staying here made it even better. I'd say it's a must for a visit to the island.

The balcony was a peaceful place to eat breakfast and unwind after beach days, and the room was spotless with a hard-to-beat location. The staff were so thoughtful, leaving snacks and fresh fruit in the hallway. When we had a small mishap in our room, they handled it with grace and went out of their way to help. Katerina was especially professional and hospitable, arranging transfers, tours, and spa bookings, and patiently answering our many questions with a real smile. Our little one is already a big fan of hers. With great amenities and such attentive service, we'd choose to stay here again if we return to Milos.
