We spent a week here at the end of June 2024 and had a wonderful stay. Filoxenia is peaceful, with the beach just 100 metres away and central Poros about 1 km away. Our top-floor balcony had a beautiful view of Poros, and we spent most of our time there enjoying it. The hotel is family run, and the room was spotless, modern, well maintained, and comfortable for two. Our hosts were very hospitable and helpful. Poros is beautiful.

The host was an incredibly kind woman, and I was touched to find books guests could borrow in English, German, and Greek. I stayed here with my family for a couple of days, and we had a sea view from the balcony. The beach, restaurants, and shops were all nearby. The wifi was really bad, and we had a few power failures, so it may be a challenge if you plan to work during your trip.

I stayed for 10 nights on my own, and it was a very peaceful experience. The village is quiet, though you really need a car to get to the hotel and explore the island. My room was nice and clean, with a beautiful view and an amazing sunrise. They cleaned every day and changed the linens every two days. The kitchen had everything needed to cook simple meals. It's run by a very sweet family, and I really recommend it.

The rooms were very clean, and the hosts were helpful. It was peaceful, with a nice sea view, but there’s no sandy beach. The wifi signal was weak, and the balcony wasn’t useful because of the A/C outdoor units. The most annoying part was having no outdoor seating in the tide garden for coffee, so we had our morning cup in the shade by the entrance door.

Dimitris was especially helpful with everything we needed, and all the staff were very friendly. We spent a few days here and everything was great, from the location to how clean the place was. Excellent stay, totally recommended!
