The pool stayed extremely clean, with both sunny and shaded spots through the day, and the rooms had views of the sea and pool. Kostis Villas is in a quiet neighbourhood, with a well-stocked supermarket just seven steps to the left of the gate, and one of the island’s best coffee shops nearby. It’s a seven-minute walk to the beach, where you can swim, snorkel, or relax on the deck and watch the sunset or stars, with service there too. Downtown Marina is a 20-minute walk or a 7 euro taxi ride if you want more crowds. The hotel has orange and lemon trees you’re welcome to pick from. Rooms have a small kitchenette, average-size fridge, and basic cooking utensils. Housekeeping was meticulous every day. Most of all, Jorgo, the owner, and staff Erini and Virginia welcomed and farewelled us like family, helped with everything, and even drove us to a dentist when I had an unfortunate tooth problem. They dealt with everything right away, and I couldn’t thank them enough. This serene island is a wonderful place for adults to relax, and we’re definitely coming back just to stay here again.

Askeli has tavernas, motorbike hire, a small ferry to Poros Town and Monastery beach, plus a bakery and supermarket right next door. The pool was excellent and everything was ultra clean. 100% recommended 👌🏻

The apartment matched the photos exactly, and the place was lovely, peaceful, and private. We had everything nearby: a supermarket a minute away, a really nice bakery with loads of delicious choices, and a bike rental shop opposite. We had a wonderful holiday and would absolutely stay again.

Kostis Villas would be a perfect place to stay on Poros if you’re okay with a hard mattress and a tiny bathroom. The studios are beautiful, with a nice pool, two supermarkets close by, and a sandy beach just a five-minute walk away. I can imagine coming back.

Friends who’d stayed here several times recommended Kostis Villas, so we booked a few nights with friends. We were welcomed warmly, and the rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. The pool was a nice extra, though the sea is only a few minutes away on foot. There’s a supermarket right next door, and best of all, Colona bakery and coffee shop.
