There’s so much history and culture around here, and Yannis, Maria’s son, has loads of good recommendations to share. I’d suggest a stay to local visitors and travelers alike. The hosts were amazing and made the experience much better than I’d expected.

A storm hit while we were there, so we had to spend some time indoors. Maria and her son made sure we had what we needed and added those thoughtful extras that make you want to return. We came looking for a break from the usual all inclusive hotel experience, and they treated us like family. We’ll definitely come back and hope there’s a room for us among their extended family again. Thank you for having us and taking such good care of us! Tiverios and Alexandra

It’s an easy walk from the accommodation to Askeli and Monastiraki beaches, and a cab from the center costs 5Euros. Our room was lovely and clean, with a balcony looking out to sea. Maria and her husband are such sweet, caring people, and their sons were welcoming, helpful, and attentive to details. Maria's studios has given me the best hospitality I’ve had in years. The management really looks after everyone and makes sure they’re comfortable. I’ll always stay here when I’m in Poros. 10/10

I found Maria studios on booking.com and called with a couple of questions about the room. The owner suggested booking directly between us instead, so he could keep the 30%. I naively agreed, but when it came time to pay, he asked for 50euros more. He was extremely rude and disrespectful.

The rooms were clean, stylish, and comfortable, and the hosts were attentive. The place is tucked among the pines and mountains.
