For 47 EUR a night when booked through the hotel's website, the value was great. We had a cute, spacious apartment with a living room, kitchen, and a large balcony with a table and chairs. There was a fridge and a safe built into the wall, plus an air conditioner in both the bedroom and living room. They can also heat the rooms on cold, rainy days. The bathroom had a hairdryer, and there was a drying rack for clothes. The staff were friendly and the pool was nice. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the main town and harbor, and checkout is at noon. A motorbike and ATV rental place is next door. An ATV costs 30 euros for the day until 7 p.m. with reverse, or 25 euros without it. I rented one without reverse and it was totally fine. The White Cat restaurant nearby is a nice option if you don't feel like walking far. The only downside I can think of is that the hotel is a little old, though it's still in good shape.

I booked directly in October. Places seemed expensive for Greece, but the good reviews and the pool made me willing to pay for a treat. We arrived late on a very stormy night and were taken to what I think was the worst room in the hotel. We'd booked a garden-view room, but the balcony looked onto a building site. In the morning, workmen woke me at 7 a.m., and relaxing on that balcony was out of the question. That was the biggest disappointment, since the view in the website photos had given me a different expectation. The room itself was old and felt dirty, though the new shower room was its one redeeming feature. There were only four hangers, no spare pillows, and a huge, hard bed. All the sockets were behind furniture, so using the kettle meant switching off the fridge. Wires hung down from the TV. I asked reception if we could move. They said this counted as a garden view room and offered an upgrade for another 20 euros a night. We were travelling in Greece for four weeks, so that was beyond our budget, and we decided to leave. Some rooms look nice, and I think you might get one if you're prepared to pay a lot. But if you book a garden-view room, be aware you could face the municipal building site and end up in a very old, run-down room.

The owner was so kind and took an interest in us, after hearing we were freediving instructors on a spearfishing trip. They even offered us a free upgrade. The rooms are really pretty, and the spot is right on the waterfront. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Our family had a brilliant week at Niki's Village. Georgia, Maria, and the rest of the team were welcoming, warm, and helpful throughout. The rooms were clean and lovely, with beautifully renovated shower rooms and gorgeous sea views. Breakfast had a great selection each morning, and the bar was a nice place to unwind later. They also served salads and snacks. The town and nearby beaches are just a short walk away. We rented small boats from Niki's for half a day, which was a great way to see the island from the water. We'd absolutely return. Thanks, Niki's, for such a lovely holiday.
