I’m already looking forward to coming back. This was my second stay, and it won’t be my last. It’s only a 2* hotel, but it’s just right for what we need. Alex and the whole family really went out of their way to make our stay lovely. We had breathtaking views, a nice pool, and simple rooms with amazing views and free air conditioning. The fridge/freezer and very reasonably priced honesty mini bar were a godsend when it was 32c outside and we wanted a cold drink. I cry every time I have to leave. Please keep everything as it is, this hotel works perfectly for us.

Breakfast was lovely, with a good range of local food and eggs made to order, all really good quality. The hotel has a family feel, and the pool has a great view over the port. Rooms are simply furnished and have air conditioning, though the mattresses are a little lumpy and could do with replacing. The nearby restaurants are great, and the area is very quiet. There are also a few sweet residential cats. It’s up a sharp hill, which explains the spectacular views, so a balcony sea-view room is worth it. Like other reviewers, I think the place is way above its two star rating.

We really want to come back, we absolutely love this place. The room had fantastic views, making the whole stay so relaxing, and the pool and its sunbeds had great views too. Breakfast is served on a lovely terrace with wonderful views, and there was plenty to choose from. They don’t really offer a cooked breakfast apart from omelette, which didn’t bother us, though others might want one. The family running the hotel couldn’t do enough for us. Alexander handled our questions efficiently and was extremely helpful. They also offered free lifts to and from town when needed. We hired a car from them, which was easy to arrange and very reasonable, and the car was right at the hotel.

The calm, quiet location suited us well, and the pool was lovely with an amazing view. Our room also had a great view. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were simple, comfortable, very clean, and had a small balcony and fridge. Breakfast buffet from 8 to 10 had lots of options. The prices were very reasonable. A couple of small annoyances: there was no bar to hang the shower head, so you have to hold it while showering, and the wifi wasn’t great. There are lots of cats around too, which is good news if you like cats.
