Villa Dolphins

The hosts really stood out. They were easy to reach and did everything they could to make the stay what you wanted, which is why I’d recommend the place so highly. The building, garden and pool area are attractive, and my Junior Suite was a spacious, well-equipped apartment with a terrace around it. There’s a bakery, supermarket and pebble beach with loungers and parasols within an easy walk. A taxi from the port is arranged for your arrival. Food and drinks are available, though I didn’t eat there.

We loved how quiet it was at night, even though it’s only a short walk from the main strip and the beach. Our room was comfortable and had all the amenities, plus a balcony with a great sea view. Gianna and Dimitris were lovely, always up for a chat and making sure we were enjoying ourselves. My wife and I hope to return to Poros someday, and we’d gladly stay at Villa Dolphins again. It’s a relaxing place with thoughtful hosts.

We planned on seven nights, then stretched the stay to 18. Dimitris, Calliope, Yianna, Violetta and Stella were all so warm and welcoming, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The place was exceptionally clean throughout, pool included. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the kitchen had good equipment. There’s a supermarket two minutes away on foot. We liked the beach by the monastery, so being at that end of Poros suited us. It was peaceful and restful, though we were the last guests of the season. I’d recommend it as a home away from home.

Dimitris and the management team were caring, easy to reach, and very professional, going well beyond what was needed. The property is clean, spacious, comfortable and well kept, with the basic necessities and a lovely pool. You can walk to the beach and to two supermarkets. We stayed for two nights and highly recommend it. It seems like a comfortable, enjoyable option for all kinds of guests, from young people and families with children to professionals.
