AKS Hinitsa Bay

We came back for a second stay after visiting in August 2018, returning in August 2021, and both times had a sea-view room. It’s a favorite of ours, especially for families. There are lots of children, but we still enjoy it, and the bay is shallow and usually clear. Later in the afternoon, though, the crowds and sunscreen seem to make the water polluted. The rooms are a good size, the air conditioning works well, and there aren’t many mosquitoes around. Food choices are varied, but the taste is only so-so. The gardens look lovely and are well kept, though not perfect. The front desk staff are sharp.

The beach is amazing, and it’s a great place for kids. Our room was good, with air conditioning that worked well. Breakfast was decent, though the other food was average and there wasn’t much to choose from. The location itself is stunning. Cleaning and food service staff were wonderful, but reception wasn’t as good.

We had relaxing evenings at the bar with live music, and there’s a pool and playgrounds for kids. The hotel accommodation was very good, with food well above average. The setting is the standout for me, one of the best locations in southern Greece, surrounded by pines and clean azure water.

There’s a large reception area on the ground floor with a bar, and plenty for kids to do. The staff are extremely friendly, the room is spacious, and the amenities are good. The location is excellent, with lots of sports options: a gym, a 5X5 soccer pitch, summer volleyball, two tennis courts, and a small outdoor basketball court. Sunbeds and umbrellas are spread around, so you can choose the sand or grass, by the sea or somewhere more secluded.
