Nautica Bay

We’ve spent Easter here three times now, staying three nights each visit, and we’ve had a great time. The rooms are clean, and some have a nice view. There’s plenty to use around the hotel, including a pool, mini golf, ping-pong, billiards, a kids’ club, and a small shop. Breakfast has a good range, and the food is good too. What really stands out is the staff: they’re kind, always smiling, and do their best to help. Thanks for all the effort. We’ll be back.

The pools for both adults and children were nice, and there was entertainment for kids. Breakfast was good, housekeeping was good, and the hotel is close to the centre and a supermarket. The beaches are about a 10-minute drive away. A few things need attention. The beach in front of the hotel wasn’t very clean, and the playground could be made safer. There was a gap under our room door where insects could get in, and we saw a cockroach. The room lighting was too dim. Water was always on the floor by the restaurant entrance stairs, apparently from the outdoor AC unit, which could cause someone to fall. Dinner was average, with some good choices but nothing of especially high quality.

My daughter loved the outdoor playground, spending hours on the swings and slide. The hotel also has a large pool, a little separate pool, and a bar. The room was satisfactory, and the cleaning staff were lovely to talk to. I also got good service when I asked for towels at the pool. But paying at reception was a bad experience. The woman there rudely took my card from my hand and tapped it on the reader as if it were hers. It felt disrespectful and not at all hospitable. Because of that front desk interaction, I won’t return.

The room was old-fashioned and not clean enough. Our sheets were already used and dirty. Don’t trust the booking photos.
