The only thing I missed was a shower area for guests with late flights who can't keep their room. Otherwise, the hotel was fantastic, the staff were really friendly, and it's well placed for reaching the local restaurants. I'd recommend it to anyone and will tell friends and family about it.

The setting is a big part of the appeal: there are beautiful sea views, and you can walk to great restaurants and shops. Climbers will find plenty of crags within easy reach too. We walked about ~15 min from the hotel to Afternoon Wall, and getting to Odyssey Wall took a short drive and walk. The hotel itself has all the things we wanted, including clean, stylish rooms, a nice pool, a private beach area, and a great breakfast bar. But the staff deserve the biggest thanks. I contacted them because we were celebrating a friend's milestone birthday, and they went above and beyond helping me find balloons, a cake, and everything else. It's rare to meet such gracious hosts who are genuinely happy to help. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Breakfast on the top-floor terrace was spectacular, a generous buffet with wide-open sea views across to Telendos island. Our room was impressive too, with a balcony looking straight across at Telendos. This was our third time at this beautiful Carian hotel, and we felt like family from the moment we arrived. Pola, the elegant and lively hotel owner, was waiting at the entrance to welcome us. She checked in with us each day to see how things were and have a chat. Her infectious smile is a real draw for the Carian Hotel. Themi and Sevasti handled registration smoothly, and Yianni, the owner's son, went above and beyond to keep the breakfast and pool bar areas running well. He's a real asset to the hotel and has a great personality. During our three nights there, we found ourselves wondering why we hadn't come sooner. Kalymnos keeps drawing us back for the island and its location, but also for the Carian and the hospitality we received there.

Breakfast was the best I've had on any Greek island. We spent a week here in June, and found this to be a fantastic little hotel. It's in a perfect spot, fairly quiet but close to the restaurants and bars. The staff were excellent, so friendly and ready to do anything they could for you.
