Aegean Villas

The location made it easy to get around: Potos town is just around the corner, with supermarkets, a bakery, pharmacy, shops, and lots of great restaurants. The beach was no more than a 5-10 minute walk. WiFi was quick, the appliances worked well, and the owners went out of their way for me and my family. We had a great holiday, and I’m already looking at flights to come back next year. I’d recommend Aegean Villas to solo travellers, couples, and families alike. I stayed in a front apartment with a balcony. There are seven apartments altogether: four with balconies, two at the front and two at the back, plus three slightly larger apartments on the lower level. Those tended to feel a little cooler, though they had air conditioning too. Each place has satellite TV, a roomy open-plan kitchen and living area with everything you’d need, a large double bedroom that can fit extra beds for families, and a shower room. The outside apartments have their own veranda, with another table and chairs underneath hanging vines. Inside, everything was clean and presentable, with typical Greek furnishings. Shutters and window mesh help with privacy and keep flies out. Little things like the handmade waterfall fountain, BBQ and bar, and carved wooden seating made the place feel homey. We used the bar area and enjoyed meeting other guests there.

We had a really nice week at Aegean Villas. I’d absolutely recommend it for families.

The garden is lovely, with plenty of places to sit outside, plus a bar and barbecue. The apartments are spacious and nice, too. Lynn and Jim put a lot of care into making sure guests feel welcome and have a good time. Wonderful place!

The apartments are clean and managed by the owners. They’re practical, though not luxurious.
