The quiet setting was a real plus, and the beach was only about a four-minute walk away. We stayed for a week in June 2025 and had a great time from beginning to end. Our room was roomy, modern, well equipped, and had a spacious balcony; it was cleaned every day. The staff were lovely whenever we saw them. Breakfast was generous, with some of the main dishes changing daily. I didn’t use the pool, though it looked clean, and there was a nice party there one evening. I’d happily come back to Astir Notos and recommend it to anyone staying in Potos.

The breakfast was fabulous, and the pool and surrounding area were lovely. Service was very good. I recommend it.

The staff were friendly, and we stayed in the renovated section, where the room was good. It’s a quiet spot that works well for families with young children, and the town center is about a five-minute walk away. Housekeeping could be better, though. During our five-night stay the room was cleaned just once. The cleaner came each day around 15:00, when our child was napping, so we couldn’t let her in.

The breakfast had a decent range and tasted pretty good. Our room felt tucked away from other people and was quiet, with plenty of space and a clean, modern bathroom. The pool and jacuzzi were clean too, and the place looked well kept. We had a great stay and would recommend it if you’re spending time in Thasos - Potos.
