The Elegant Apartments

The location is in a good, quiet area, and the pool was small but nice, so the kids were happy. But at this price, it didn’t feel worth the money. It looks fancy, yet the stay was very average, with small rooms and a kitchenette tucked in a closet. We booked a one bedroom apartment, number 211, for two adults and two children aged 14 and 8, so both were big kids. There was one double bed and a pull out sofa that was terrible for sleeping and falling apart. Once opened, there was no room to get by. The kitchenette had no space to put anything, the fridge in the closet overheated, there were no dishes, not enough water glasses, and only one very small pot. We had to eat on the terrace, which was always sunny and hot. There was nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom, no soap dish, and the open shower left water everywhere. The air conditioning cooled the small room very slowly and didn’t work properly. It switched off when you opened the door or took the key card, so after being in the sun all the time, the room was 40 degrees when we came back. The daily cleaning was good for taking out the trash, but there was nothing to clean because bags were left on the ground. The closet was tiny for four people, and there was no room to pass. Towels were changed every second day, sheets every three days. There were no showers around the pool, even though the pool rules say you need to shower before and after using it. It closed at 20h. The terraces had some kind of plastic covering that made terrible noises in wind or rain. Other guests were always on their terraces or by the pool, so we had to close all the doors if we wanted to sleep. The host never asked if things were okay or if we needed anything. They seemed totally uninterested in the guests.
