The sea view was nice, but the nearby surroundings felt a bit like “no man’s land,” which took away from the atmosphere. We had hoped for two relaxing sunny days by the pool, but it was extremely cold and unusable for the kids. With the windy weather at the end of August, we couldn’t really enjoy the outdoor area either. We asked the host whether we could leave a night early, but they didn’t agree. For the price, the stay felt expensive and less enjoyable than we’d expected.

The view from the salty villa was stunning both day and night, and the villa itself was beautiful and cozy. My partner and I had such a good anniversary stay. Maroulia was the nicest, most accommodating host, and even welcomed us with wine and snacks. She made everything easy, sending us food, activity, and transport recommendations for the island and staying available by text whenever we needed her. I recommend a car or ATV since the roads nearby aren’t really walkable. If you don’t have one, Maroulia can book taxis and help out. The neighborhood is quiet, with Pyrgos nearby for some very nice, cheap restaurants. Fira and Kamari aren’t too far by ATV, and the villa is close to the airport too. The beds were comfy, and toiletries, robes, towels, extra blankets, and a safe were provided in the wardrobe. Housekeeping was friendly. The pool is very cold and not heated, so it takes some getting used to, but swimming with that view in the sun was amazing. We couldn’t find anything bad about the villa and loved every second. I’d definitely come back to Santorini and stay here again.

I fell in love with the villa. It’s in a great spot for exploring and joining tours, and the housekeeper Sakis made things so much easier. He’s a great guy and very helpful.

Maroulia made us feel welcome right away, meeting us with the keys and sharing great tips for restaurants and catamaran trips. The villa felt cozy, the quiet neighborhood was a lovely retreat, and having a car made it easy to get to Oia and Fira. The pool looked beautiful lit up at night, though the water was too cold for me to swim in. I did get some nice photos, at least. Breakfast was delicious and they were thoughtful about our allergies and dietary needs, but the servings were huge for two, so we often had food left over. When we had questions, Maroulia replied quickly, and she got our AC/heater issue sorted out promptly. The open shower has no tub and splashed water across the bathroom floor, but we could manage it. We had a 10/10 stay!

Maroulia, your warmth and helpfulness made this villa stay unforgettable. The villa itself had all the charm of Santorini, but your care was what meant the most to us.
