We found beaches, tavernas and bars just a five-minute walk away, which made this a great base for a laid-back holiday. The view was lovely, everything was very clean, and the hosts were the best.

The owners, a friendly and attentive family, made us feel welcome. Our room was spotless and had everything needed to cook, including a full-size fridge. The beach is only a few metres away; it can get busy, though it wasn't so crowded or noisy that it bothered us. Leventohori is a five-minute drive. One thing I'd change: the automatic watering kicks in at 1 a.m. and can interrupt a quiet evening on the balcony, or even spray you. It would be much better if it ran later at night.

Watching the sunset over the sea was breathtaking, and the place was so peaceful I hardly know what to say. The sea is right in front of the house, the view is amazing, and I've never stayed in a cleaner room. The family running it were lovely, polite, and always ready to help.

The facilities were comfortable, tidy, and really nice, and the owner was so kind and helpful. With the beach right in front and such warm hospitality, I'd love to come back as soon as I can.
