The weekly beach barbecue and the welcoming bar were highlights for us, with memorable food and atmosphere. Breakfast can get a little crowded, though that's understandable. The place has real character, which is unusual for this kind of hotel. It's spotlessly clean, with a relaxing feel throughout the complex. The architecture is beautifully designed and gives you a real sense of privacy. One of the best hotels in the area, possibly the Aegean.

The price felt high for the quality, and I probably wouldn't stay again. The restaurant seemed pretentious, while the gym and pools were tiny. There were some good things: breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were average in size with sea views. Some views were obstructed, though, and from our balcony the bartender could look straight in. Since we were only there one night, we didn't ask to move, but we would have if staying longer.

Pythagoreio is close by, a picturesque place with a nice blend of traditional and modern restaurants. We barely noticed the airport, since there aren't many flights each day. It would probably feel the same in Pythagoreio's town center, so no worries there. We had a wonderful stay at Casa Cook Samos this October. The quality shows in the details, and it made for a perfect getaway. The fresh food was delicious, the massages were professional, and we even booked both the deep tissue and mother to be massages twice. The staff were so friendly. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The setting stays peaceful at night, and we spent two full days relaxing on the beach. The hotel also has a restaurant, a store and a cocktail bar. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel so welcome that it felt like home. I especially recommend the morning yoga sessions, which are free, and the instructor really knew their stuff. The spas were relaxing too, with great service. It's an amazing hotel in Samos, and I want to come back as soon as I can!

The staff were friendly without exception and did everything they could to make the stay special. Coming back in September felt like coming home to friends. I'm already looking forward to returning to Casa Cook on Samos, my happy place. Thanks Sarah, Maria, Cece, Yannis and everyone else xx The beach was blissful, with thick-cushioned sunbeds, soft towels, parasols and tables for drinks and belongings. You could order snacks and drinks from the beach boys while relaxing. Bring water shoes, or buy them there, for walking over the pebbles into the sea. After a few metres, it turns to soft sand. I loved the architecture, earthy colours, gardens and interior design. I've stayed twice, first in June and then again in September, and fell in love with the place straight away. Both times I had a swim-up suite, so having a pool on my own terrace was wonderful. The classic and beach rooms are lovely too, with pretty balconies, and every room is comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. The room had Olive Era body products, a Nespresso machine, mini fridge, kettle and the softest cotton sheets. It was cleaned and tidied daily, and housekeeping checked in each afternoon about extra towels or anything else we needed. I also liked that the furniture, linens and crockery were locally made wherever possible. There was plenty of cupboard space, an iron and ironing board, and a safe. Everything I needed was there. I went to bed looking forward to breakfast, and it was extensive, delicious and healthy, with traditional Greek food alongside more modern choices. I started with savoury food at a table by the beach, usually an omelette with vegetables and cheese, salad and couscous. Then I'd have something sweet, like a croissant with homemade jam, pastries, fruit, Greek yoghurt with nuts and tahini, or chia with almond milk. I ate enough that I didn't need lunch. Afterwards, I'd take a Nespresso coffee to a lounger and daydream by the blue sea.
