Aristea Hotel

My wife and I had a wonderful holiday at the Aristea Hotel in Rethymno, Crete, in June 2025. It's a small, intimate place right by the beach, with shops, supermarkets and tavernas all just a couple of minutes' walk away. The pool is moderately sized and never felt crowded, probably because there aren't many guests. It and the rest of the hotel were spotlessly clean. There's a very good pool bar serving drinks, snacks and light meals. We paid for breakfast and were pleased with the selection of cooked and cold food, including lots of local delicacies. Our room was more like a small apartment, with excellent air-conditioning, a little terrace, a kitchenette and a full sized fridge. It was clean and comfortable too. The staff were super pleasant and friendly. Special mention to the fantastic reception team, especially Vicky, who went above and beyond to make our stay so special. We'd happily recommend the Aristea Hotel and plan to return. Thank you so much to all at the Aristea!

The breakfast had loads of tasty choices, and there’s a big pool with a bar serving plenty of different drinks. Our room was clean, with fresh towels and sheets every two days. The staff were always smiling and polite. Great spot near the beach and not far from central Rethimno. Best hotel ever! 😍

We loved how easy it was to get to the beach and nearby attractions, and the hotel worked really well for a family trip. The pool was kept in great shape for both adults and kids, and the staff were warm and friendly. Everything felt spotlessly clean, from the property to our stay, and breakfast each morning had lots of fresh choices. We had a fantastic time, would happily come back, and recommend it for a relaxing getaway. Thanks for all! :)

The beach was only about a two-minute walk away, with supermarkets nearby and bakeries across the road. The hotel was gorgeous throughout, with a lovely garden, pool area and bar. The menu was brilliant, and the meals were delicious and beautifully presented. My room was neat and clean, and I especially liked the air-conditioning. I spent a week here and loved the holiday. The staff were welcoming, cheerful and always ready to help. They put in so much effort and made the trip even more enjoyable. I had no problems with anyone on the team, and despite what someone said about pool water damaging swimwear, none of the many different swimsuits I wore were damaged. I can’t find fault with the hotel or staff, and can’t thank them enough. It’s a massive 10/10 from me, and I can’t wait to return next year! 🤩😍🤩
