We found the owners very welcoming and easy to reach whenever we needed something, which made the stay smooth and enjoyable. The old town location is excellent and peaceful, and the atrium plants make it feel fresh and surrounded by nature. The interiors are elegant and thoughtfully designed. If you're driving, there are two paid car parks, 4 and 10 mins away. The marina one is the cheaper option. We'd highly recommend staying here as a base for exploring the city and this part of Crete.

Manos was very friendly and took care of everything we needed. This is a lovely little boutique hotel in the centre of Rethymno’s old town. We picked a multi-level suite, which was laid out and decorated really well, with modern furnishings and air conditioning. There's also a small plunge pool in the main courtyard, amazing to find in this kind of location. I highly recommend staying here in Rethymno.

The owner got in touch before we arrived to arrange check-in, and the AC worked well. Our room was clean and quite large by European standards, with a kitchenette that would suit anyone wanting to make some meals. The hotel is on a quieter side street in the old town, though the tavernas on the block can get somewhat noisy at night. The room did feel a little musty, and stayed that way because there was no way to open the windows. At check-in I was given a ground-floor room, which I don't love as a solo woman traveler or because of the noise, but I was assured it would be quiet. It wasn't. In the morning you can see people's shadows through the front door, which felt a bit unsettling. Parking is in a public lot a 5 min walk away and costs about 10 Euro for

We had a really good week in the Superior Suite - Split Level. It’s modern, clean, and everything feels new. The location is peaceful, with restaurants and cafes close by and the beach about a 15-minute walk away. The pool is small but nice for cooling off, and the Wi-Fi worked okay, though it could be better. We missed having a washing machine, but our very friendly host kindly did our laundry for us. They were also happy to stop for a quick chat, which made the stay even nicer. We’d gladly come back.
