Every staff member was tremendously helpful, and I love this place. The rooms are clean and efficient, the location is very good, and the service is first class. I wish the bar served locally made ice cream instead of a generic national brand. They seem to cater to tourists with bland, unimaginative taste.

We spent five days here, including our fourth anniversary, and the staff made us feel so welcome. They even upgraded us, which worked out great. The room was very clean, with a big bathroom and great shower pressure, and the facilities throughout were super clean and modern. I’d noticed the elegant look of the hotel last year while visiting the old Port of residence rethymno pass, so we booked it for this trip. The location is wonderful, the staff are so friendly, and I’d highly recommend it as one of the best value places to stay in the old Port area.

The location is away from the town’s hustle and bustle, with a refreshing sea breeze, yet just a few metres from everything you might want. The guests were very nice too, and suited the lovely hotel. It’s a fantastic place, first class in every regard, with friendly, approachable staff in every department who want to deliver service that exceeds expectations.

The pool was fantastic, and the service there was terrific. The pool bar menu was reasonably priced. They’re strict about not reserving loungers, which I appreciated. The pool opens at 10, as breakfast is winding down, and I imagine that lets people in pool-facing rooms sleep in. One downside was that no pool towels were provided. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff served us really well. They supplied gluten-free bread when we asked. The hotel is right in the old town, close to restaurants and a 15-minute walk from the beach. Our room had great views and had been renovated, though some rooms are in attached buildings without lift access. Staff can help with luggage. The sea-facing rooms get noisy, as local bars stay open until 4am. Our shower leaked water everywhere, and the two single beds pushed together felt really small. I'd say it's more like a four-star hotel than a three-star one, and good value. I'd recommend it despite the things mentioned.
