Korona beach apartments III

We stayed at Spiros' place for two weeks and came away with mixed feelings. The flat was spacious, and we especially liked the large balcony and its cozy little outdoor sofa. Its location was fantastic, close to everything, and a second-floor apartment even gives you a bit of sea view. A few things let us down. We’d told Spiros beforehand that we needed reliable Wi-Fi for remote work, but the connection was very unstable. The bathroom was the main problem: the pipes smelled awful, especially in the morning. Spiros said it was an issue with the area, but we felt something could still have been done, such as better ventilation, an air purifier or even air freshener spray. The room seemed neglected, with rusty taps, shower head and toilet paper dispenser, and the water pressure was very low, perhaps made worse by the shower head. For a few days we also struggled with an unreliable water supply. The kitchen had very little equipment. We had to buy sponges to wash dishes, and there was no salt, pepper or bottle opener. At this price, the flat fell short of what we expected from an Airbnb-type vacation rental.

A great location and lovely apartments. Highly recommended!
