Our apartment was brilliant, with a spacious bathroom and a modern interior. We were in room 201 near the stairs, so I was unsure about the noise, but the rooms are extremely soundproof. The pool area was nice, and the staff were wonderful. It’s a two-minute walk to the beach and around 15 minutes from Old town, passing lovely bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. We’ll 100% stay again.

The family running Leonidas made us feel so welcome during our week in Rethymnon, and took such good care of us. It felt like a home away from home, simple and beautiful, without that horrible all-inclusive hotel feeling. We’d love to return if we get the chance. Sophia introduced us to Mr Leonidas when we arrived, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is modern and clean, with comfortable beds and a perfect location. Our room was cleaned every day, and there’s a car park if you’re driving. We had a great stay.

We had such a lovely week at this family-run hotel, and the staff made the holiday memorable. Our room was gorgeous and immaculately clean, with two balconies, air conditioning in both the bedroom and sitting room, and a fully equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was a great start to the day, with cooked and continental choices: fresh fried eggs, bacon, sausage, feta and spinach filo rolls, pastries, bread, fruit, cold meats and cheeses. We highly recommend it and would definitely return to Rethymno.

We spent two weeks at Leonidas hotel with our 10-month-old baby. The hotel is modern and new, but what made our stay was the friendliness of the family who run it. They welcomed us with smiles and cuddles for our little one. We felt at home. Thank you!
