Petalo Suites

Petalo Suites really felt like home, with a level of hospitality and cleanliness I haven’t found elsewhere. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and have everything you might need. It’s right in the heart of Old Town Rethymno, with everything within walking distance and plenty to see and do nearby. An amazing stay, highly recommend!

The owner was so kind and hospitable, and even brought fresh fruit, wine, and treats. Breakfast was always delivered right on time, and we really enjoyed it. The apartment was immaculate, with a lovely balcony view and all the equipment we needed, and it all felt high quality. It’s on a cozy street in the centre of the old town. We loved our 10-night stay at Petalo Suites. Highly recommend!

Once we’d carried our suitcase up the three stairs, the peaceful atmosphere and then the view took our breath away. The host knew we’d arrive late and left fruit, cake, and a bottle of wine for us. The interior is modern with a soft bohemian touch, and all the details fit together beautifully. There’s lots of shade outside, with, I guess, only morning sun in summer. The streets are lively and fun, but close the door and the noise stays out. Our only downside was the downstairs neighbors, who were noisy late at night and left their dog alone. When they were gone, it barked constantly. That was on those tourists, not the host, and we didn’t say anything. A beautiful place in a beautiful city, with everything within walking distance.

The host was great, and they made us feel right at home. That kind of hospitality is rare. The suites are charming, clean, and well equipped, right in the heart of the old town. We had an amazing stay!
