The beach is right there, and you can see the sea from the room balcony. It’s well placed, though getting to the old town takes a bit of a walk. There wasn’t breakfast during the off season, unfortunately.

We only stayed one night, but it all went smoothly from the moment we arrived. I pulled up outside to unload, and someone immediately moved a moped so I could use the lay-by. Everyone on staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable and clean. I’d worried the road and nearby lift might make it noisy, but I heard nothing at night. Breakfast was very good, the walk to the old town is short, and the B&B price was great. We’ll stay here again next time we’re in Rethymno.

Everyone was so nice, and the place was really good. You can use the beach loungers for free if you order some drinks there. The old town is nearby, an easy short walk along the beach.

The staff were the highlight of the bar, always smiling, chatting with us, and offering shots. I also really liked the cocktails, especially the strawberry shortcake, and the Greek food was great. I’d recommend the chicken gyros. My room was very clean, the view was magnificent, and there was always someone available to help, even at 3 am. I was here for just three nights, but it was one of my best hotel experiences. Try getting up early one morning to see the sunrise.
