A perfect location and good value for the price. The rooms were clean and pretty, and the owner was so lovely. He helped us book a car to the beach and gave us great suggestions for local bakeries and bars. I’d absolutely recommend it. 10/10.

The hotel is amazing, and the location couldn’t be beaten. The owner is one of the kindest people you’ll meet and makes you feel like family. In all my years of travelling, I’ve never stayed anywhere like it. I strongly recommend it to families, couples and solo travellers alike. Ignore the hotel rating, this place is five stars and more.

Niko was a very kind and helpful host who gave me excellent tips on places to visit locally. I really enjoyed staying at Rethymno House, with its great location in the old district and clean room. The only thing I’d improve is the shower. It’s so small and old that the curtain touches your legs while you shower. Thanks again, Niko. Patrice
