This stay was upsetting and exhausting. We booked because the listing said air conditioning was available, but at check-in we were told using it would cost extra under a separate agreement with the provider. When we refused to pay more for something we expected to be included, the owner yelled at my wife and me in Greek. We felt helpless and completely disrespected. It was a shocking, horrible moment. How can a guest be spoken to like that? The room wasn’t clean when we arrived. The cleaners came, but did a poor job, leaving dirty surfaces and unacceptable hygiene. Several listed amenities were missing too: there was no washing machine, iron or hairdryer in the room. The few appliances there were rusty, and opening the cabinets brought out an unpleasant smell. The shower pressure was extremely weak, so rinsing off took ages every day. I’d give zero stars if I could.

The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, with several nice restaurants nearby where we could enjoy the view and good food. We stayed a week and had a wonderful time. Our room was clean, and the staff were always exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The rooms deserve 4 stars, but the food is no more than 3. Early check-in and late checkout cost too much, and food wasn’t included.

Being close to the sea isn't much of a perk here, since the whole village is by the water anyway. The room was really old and had a bit of a smell, and the bathroom badly needs renovating. I regret picking this place for my stay.

We stayed at Sunrise Hotel for a week last August with my family, and we'd happily go back next year. I especially enjoyed the pool and the dinners, with tasty traditional dishes made from their own produce. Breakfast was a treat too: homemade cheese, yogurt, jams, honey, cakes, and lovely fruit and vegetables from the garden. Our room was very clean, and the balcony had a great view. We all had a really good stay.
